The Nike Always Forward pack was unveiled with an on-sale date of October 17th. The pack features a blue Phantom Vision, Hypervenom, and Tiempo along with a Volt color on the Mercurial Vapor and Superfly. Always Forward will come in two waves with the second set to debut later this year.
The Nike Always Forward colorway was focused on players being cool under pressure and took inspiration from NASA. The deep blue featured on the cleats is actually the same color used by NASA to keep astronauts calm. Knowing that takes away any excuses for panicking when you’re on the ball.
The Volt yellow used on the Superfly and Mercurial Vapor is a classic and beloved Nike color aimed more at game changers. It has been seen on everything from Barcelona FC jerseys to soccer cleats previously. It is no accident that it is featured on the Superfly and Mercurial Vapor as they are Nike’s dedicated speed silos. It’s not hard to imagine Christian Pulisic or Tobin Heath changing the game in a flash wearing these brightly colored cleats.
With the latest colorway already debuted on the field by Mal Pugh and Tobin Heath, you can look forward to seeing these on pitch everywhere very soon. They shouldn’t be hard to pick out.
