Rooney Resigns with Manchester United

With all of the speculation and rumors spreading about the Manchester United super-star, Wayne Rooney, leaving his club team for cross-town rivals, Manchester City, it’s a surprise to us all to see that Rooney has resigned his contract with Man U. Just when fans and players were coming to accept Rooney leaving, it seems as if Man U was able to finally reach an agreement with the player.

Even though Manchester City was offering Rooney a good deal, I think he was waiting for Man U to offer him something better. He doesn’t seem like the type of player who would step down from his throne on his own.

Knowing that he may have upset his fellow teammates and his devoted fans, it has been said that Rooney is planning on apologizing to both groups for their pain and suffering, but, so far, we’re still waiting.
