Fued ends between Zidane and Materazzi?

We all remember Zidane’s insane headbutt to Materazzi’s chest during the 2006 World Cup final. Who could forget it? Well it has been said that Materazzi is finally forgiving Zidane for his actions and Zidane is forgiving Materazzi for bad mouthing his mother. It’s even been rumored that the two spoke about the incident and then hugged out their differences. Aw, how cute.

That would be a fairytale ending to this infamous World Cup incident, but of course, the two have denied ever making up and apologizing. After running in to each other Zidane admits that he thought Materazzi was just a fan and that they didn’t even acknowledge each other. This too is far from the truth, though.

They actually did speak to one another, but they both deny that apologies were exchanged. So much for the happy ending.
