Tottenham Goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident
Tottenham Hotspur back up goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is facing possible “life-changing” injuries after he crashed his BMW motorcycle early this morning in London. The goalkeeper was taken to the hospital where he is being treated for a broken pelvis and fractures of both wrists.
Italian Cudicini joined Tottenham earlier this year and has made 10 starts in his time so far with the North London club, but has mainly been used as a back up to regular goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.
Im not the biggest fan of Heurelho Gomez, but Carlo Cudicini really made it easy for his manager to pick a starting goalie. How stupid must you feel after you wake from this accident, he has everything you can want in life and to blow it like this is a shame. I have followed Cudicini since his time at Chelsea sitting behind Peter Cech, and I really thought that if he put in the time and the hard work this season he would quickly be Harry Redknapps first choice goalie. That is surely not gonna be the case this season. Hopefully he can heal properly and I'll be looking out for his return. Get Well!!
