Burnley’s Kevin McDonald just couldn’t wait to get to the pub. After being subbed off in Burnley’s 6-1 smashing at the hands of Manchester City, McDonald decided a beer was the answer to his disapointments. Taken off at half time, McDonald left the stadium and headed over to a local pub to watch the second half.
He was subsequently reprimanded for “a breach of club discipline” for leaving the stadium without permission.
The 21-year-old Scot later admitted he had been “naive” and “disrespectful”, with Burnley boss Brian Laws adding that his player had been “a bit of an idiot”.

I have to sympathise with Kevin on this occasion, but none the less bloody hilarious.
Beer, Pub, football on TV, what could be better. Nice one Kevin.
