Barcelona Away Jersey 2012/13 Launches

With true FCB style, the new Barcelona Away Jersey 12/13 from Nike goes on sale today. Sticking with the tradition of bright colored away kits for the Catalan giants, Nike this year has raised the bar with a orange to yellow fade design paying respect to Barcelona‘s rich culture of art, style and architecture.The jersey features a classic orange crew neck ribbed color with the famous Blaugrana detail on the back of the neck. The outer back detail on the shirt is Catalan’s Senyera flag, whilst the inner neck graphic reads, ‘Més que un club’ (More than a club). The font used on the kit is inspired by Catalan architecture.

Similar to Nike’s other modern soccer jerseys and kits, the Barcelona away jersey is made from ground-breaking polyester which both makes the jersey lightweight and more environmentally friendly. With an innovative manufacturing process, Nike uses recycled plastic bottles to create each jersey and uses 30% less energy consumption compared to traditional polyester manufacturing. Each jersey is made of 23% lighter fabric and uses Nike DriFIT technology to keep players cool and comfortable on the field.
